This is just so you can go back to an earlier stage if necessary. ![]() Now you should see the picture, looking like a drawing. Use the Gaussian Blur filter on the inverted layer. Then, start painting with the Brush Tool and see how the color image reveals itself. Don't worry, we'll bring the picture back in a moment. Press and hold the Option key to extend the range of the Brush. Brush Size: Drag the Brush Size slider to adjust the size of the Desaturate tool brush. In the Tools sidebar, click or choose if from the grouped tools. Choose View > Zoom In to zoom in until you see the relevant details. Choose Tools > Retouch > Desaturate (from the Tools menu at the top of your screen). Viewing the image at the pixel level will help you to maintain precision as you paint.
